BEHIND THE PHOTO - BLACK MAGIC

Black Magic was conjured out of my desire to showcase some of the tools I and my family use to shift the energy, both individually and in our home. You would be amazed at the power of specific crystals, like the clear quartz seen in this photo, and a good sage smudging. 

When one thinks of "black magic" instantly they think evil witches and deadly spells..but that's not what this image is about.   It's a play on words and meant to highlight the magic that we have access to that ties us to our ancestors by utilizing the elements of the earth to enhance our connection to the earth and them.  So, is it black magic or black magic?

I had a whole plan laid out for this shoot.
You may see my daughter "being my assistant" and trying to make the dress look flowy.
I had my camera set to interval timer mode,  shooting 50 photos - one every second.
I find that using this method gives me the most freedom to move through poses. 

Editing time-lapse

Culling via LR.
Then pulled into PS for main edits, including adding the smoke overlays from Bellevue Avenue.
Then pulled back into LR for color grading and final edit. 
Sped up the video so you wouldn't have to sit for an hour.
